I'm a Software Engineer with many years of experience in the Software industry. My areas of concentration are in the development of multi-tier Enterprise Applications within the Java Platform as well as .NET.  I have been extremely involved in the Open Source Community where I participate (whenever possible) in forums or email lists of some of the technologies I use (e.g. Struts, Hibernate, Spring primarily). 


Despite the different roles and responsibilities I currently have, I enjoy using (and learning) new technologies that contribute to the success of an enterprise. I feel I'm very passionate about technology in general. I don't consider myself an evangelist to a technology platform, however I wouldn't mind sharing my opinion about particular technologies.  In this regard, I try to keep up with technology by subscribing to RSS feeds, attending seminars (such as the NFJS series) or any other conference I can make time to attend.

When I'm not developing software, I'm a Husband and a Father (yes, in that order). I enjoy playing soccer weekly as well as to go on dates with my wife.
